After All We Can Do

LDS and Evangelical Perspectives on Grace

After All We Can Do

This book is an attempt to honestly and carefully compare weigh the doctrine of grace as held by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) and the other Christian faiths of our day.

This book does not rely heavily on Catholic or Protestant sources for an understanding of grace, but each passage of scripture referring to the word grace (or any of its forms) in the King James Verson of the Bible and in the LDS standard works has been considered, weighed, and cited in this volume.

In addition, Catholic and Protestant sources and the words of LDS prophets and apostles have been searched to determine the point of view held by these authorities in regard to this doctrine.

While I do not presume to speak officially for the LDS Church, my hope has been to help individuals, both evangelical and LDS, to understand what the scriptures say on the idea of grace.
